In Psa 106:19-20,

¹⁹They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image. ²⁰Thus they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass

Looking at the passage above, it means that there are people who eat grass because their glory has been changed from their foundation.
Idol worshiping changes a man's glory. Last week, we looked at the 50 kinds of people who need to pray to crush the yoke of idolatry. I also explained the dangers behind the worship of idols.
Reading on in Psa 106:21-31; 34-42,

²¹They forget God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt; ²²Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.²³Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them. ²⁴Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word: ²⁵But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD. ²⁶Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness: ²⁷To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands. ²⁸They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead. ²⁹Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them. ³⁰Then stood up Phin ' ehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed. ³¹And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

³⁴ They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them: ³⁵But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works. ³⁶And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them. ³⁷ Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, ³⁸And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood. ³⁹ Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions. ⁴⁰ Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance. ⁴¹ And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them. ⁴²Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

Everything in the passage above started from idol worship. The bible forbids idolatry, bowing down to, sacrificing to or worshiping of images. The bible forbids worshiping other gods. The bible forbids swearing by gods, speaking in the name of other gods. The bible forbids looking unto other gods, sacrificing to and fearing other gods. The bible forbids worshiping angels. The bible forbids worshiping the host of heaven. The bible forbids worshiping devils. The bible forbids worshiping dead men. The bible forbids man and woman bearing the name of idols. The bible forbids making plea or praying unto idols.
Many societies in many parts of the world have idolatry in their past and present. A research was done about idols in Africa. As at the time I read the research, the researcher had collated a list of half a billion idols scattered all over. Idolatry is terrible because it breeds other sins and causes the mind to be hardened; it causes the mind to be deceived. In some families, it is difficult to find a committed christian in the whole family. It hardens people. Idolatry kindles the anger of God more than any other thing.
There are consequences of idol worship:

• Blockages
• Non achivement
• Marital distress
• Chronic health problems
• Poverty
• Backwardness
• Backsliding

There is current and past idol worship and together are responsible for most of the problems the black man goes through. The times we are living in now is a time of terrible spiritual conflict. It is a time of proliferation of churches while at the same time a proliferation of satanic synagogues. This is a time of pouring of the holy spirit and at the same time an out poring of intense demonic activity. It's a time you find plenty of people who love God and a time you find plenty of people who love God. So, it's a time all Christians must know what they are doing.
When there is true deliverance, seven things happen:

• The removal of wicked spirits: Wicked spirits who were once inside an individual or business, but are now absent, thus, making the person free from there evil domination
• Restoration of normal functions. The aim of deliverance is not just to overcome the enemy, but to receive restoration in that afflicted area
