Disillusioned With Church?

Disillusioned With Church?
Have you ever found yourself in this scenario?
You were once a dedicated member of the church, always up and doing, served in more than one group or committee, tithed faithfully, gave as much time, talent, money to the church as you could and every Sunday morning or weekday service, you felt this rush of excitment through you. You couldn't wait to get to church and listen to praise and worship. You were always looking forward to the sermon and prayer sessions afterwards. As a matter of fact, after each service, you would buy "today's message" and play it in your car all week long!

All of a sudden, one day you witnessed a prominent member of your church speak terribly bad about a fellow person behind their back and when the person appeared, they changed their tune and were all smiles! "Wait a minute!" you say to yourself. Wasn't this member just talking reckless about this brother/sister moments ago? How could a fellow Christian act this way - one who was supposed to be broken? You chalk it up to human weakness, afterall no human is perfect, perhaps even prayed for this member and let it slide.
Next, you hear that a highly anointed and respected pastor of your church - one who commands the fire of God to come down and it comes - was involved in a fraudulent scheme that defrauded the church of several millions of naira and you say to yourself,
"That's it!"

After a Sunday service, you simply picked up your bible, walked out and never returned. You decided the church is filled with a bunch of hypocrites, backstabbers and thieves! The whole situation now has you feeling some type of way: betrayed and disillusioned. We understand how you feel. The good book in Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 has this to say:
1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance
KJV, American Edition
You may be feeling hurt and discouraged, but know that the time to let it all go has come. Don't allow a season of mourning turn into a lifetime of sorrow. Let God through MFM Online Church turn your disappointment, sorrow and disillusion into joy and restoration!
Welcome to MFM Online Church and God bless!
