was a youth to FLEE!
2 Timothy 2:22
KJV
Flee also
youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that
call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
To flee means
to runaway, as from trouble or danger. As youths we are being admonished to
flee from anything that can kill ones spiritual growth and destroy ones future.
Examples of youthful lust to flee from
are:
v
The Craving for Satisfaction of the physical appetite for food, alcohol, sex, money, pleasure, amusements.
The Craving for Satisfaction of the physical appetite for food, alcohol, sex, money, pleasure, amusements.
v
The
Cravings for Possessions and the glory associated with having them.
